The circle Shucheng (舒城县; Pinyin : Shucheng Xiàn) is a circle in the Chinese province of Anhui . It belongs to the administrative area of ​​the prefecture-level city of Lu'an . The district has an area of ​​2,110 square kilometers, in 2015 it had 995,000 inhabitants.

The district is flat in the east and rises to the west, in the southwest lie the foothills of the Dabie Shans . 52% of the district counts as mountainous, 20% as hilly. The highest point of the circle is the Wanfu Shan (万 佛山) with 1539 meters, the lowest point is 7 meters. The Hangbu (杭 埠 河) flows through the district and is dammed by the Longhekou Reservoir , a reservoir created in 1958.

National roads 206 and 105 run through the district. The land is fertile and the climate favorable for agriculture: tea, camellia oil , Chinese chestnuts , vegetables, and products from freshwater cultures are produced. Shucheng has many tourist nature parks and is known as the "front yard of Hefei" or " Beidaihe of Anhui".
