Yuan
Yu'an ( Chinese 裕安 区 , Pinyin Yù'ān Qū ) is a Chinese municipality in the Anhui province . It belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture-level city of Lu'an . The city district has an area of 1,926 square kilometers and a population of around 1,024,600 (2015).
The Pi He (in the south) and the Ji He (in the north) flow through the municipality. The mountains of the Dabie Shans are in the southwest.
In Yu'an, sand, quartz sand and bentonite are mined; agriculture produces hemp, grain and oil, fruits and vegetables. Other products include geese, silkworms and bamboo.
The national roads 312 and 105 cross in the city district. Yu'an describes itself as the place of origin of the Tao culture .
Administrative structure
At the community level, the municipality is made up of five street districts, twelve large municipalities and seven municipalities.
