Shūgo Tsuji ( Japanese 辻 周 吾 , Tsuji Shūgo ; born July 21, 1997 in Chiba Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Shūgo Tsuji learned to play football in the youth team of JEF United Chiba . He signed his first contract with Sagan Tosu in 2016 . The club from Tosu , a town in Saga Prefecture on the island of Kyushu , played in the highest Japanese league, the J1 League . The 2018 season he was loaned to the second division Yokohama FC in Yokohama . After the loan, he was signed by Yokohama in early 2019. In 2019 he was runner-up with the club and rose to the first division. After the rise, he left Yokohama and went to Matsuyama . Here he signed a contract with the second division Ehime FC .
