Shun'ya Suganuma ( Japanese 菅 沼 駿 哉 , Suganuma Shun'ya ; born May 17, 1990 in Toyonaka , Osaka Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Shun'ya Suganuma learned to play football in the youth team of Gamba Osaka . Here he signed his first professional contract in 2009. The club from Suita , a city in the northern prefecture of Osaka , played in the country's highest league, the J1 League . From August 2011 to November 2011 he was loaned to the second division Roasso Kumamoto . With the club, which is based in the prefecture of Kumamoto , he played 17 times in the second division, the J2 League . The 2012 season he played on loan at first division club Júbilo Iwata in Iwata . After his loan ended, he was signed by Iwata in early 2013. At the end of 2013 he had to relegate to the second division with the club. In 2015 he moved to the league competitor Kyōto Sanga in Kyōto . For Kyoto, he completed 74 second division games. In 2017 he signed a one-year contract with Montedio Yamagata, who also played in the second division . For Yamagata, he completed 40 games in the second division. In 2018, his former club Gamba Osaka took him back under contract. The first team played in the first division, the U23 team played in the third division, the J3 League .
