Shystie (born December 25, 1982 in Hackney , North London ; real name Chanelle Scott / Calica ) is a female British MC of the grime scene.
Life
After Shystie caused a stir locally with her fast rhymes , she had a minor success with her white label answer to Dizzee Rascal's song I Luv U and secured her a place on the 2003 Basement Jaxx tour . She now has one Signed a contract with Universal and released the album Diamond in the Dirt in 2004, which was particularly successful in the grime scene. Only the songs One Wish and Make It Easy were minor successes in the British charts .
In the following years, Shystie tried mainly as an actress, including in her own television series titled Dubplate Drama , which was broadcast in three seasons on Channel 4 . She also made several contributions to film soundtracks. Not until 2011 did she draw attention to herself musically again with several mixtapes. Several singles and an EP were released, but did not return to the charts.
