The Siagneviadukt or Viaduc de la Siagne was a steel truss bridge on stone pedestals with an overhead carriageway on the Meyrargues – Nice railway line and spanned the Siagne River at a height of 72 m . Two of the three steel framework columns were in the area of the Var department , the easternmost and the eastern bridgehead in the Alpes-Maritimes department . The total length was 232 m and was divided into four fields: the two outer ones had a length of 53 m, the two inner ones of 63 m, which were each placed on two masonry abutments and three metal piles.
Two of the four parts of the bridge were blown up on August 24, 1944 as the German occupiers withdrew during World War II. Because two more viaducts were destroyed during this retreat and the railway line could no longer work economically before, the bridge was not rebuilt.
