Sibylla is a Swedish company in the food service .

The franchise company is part of Nordic Fast Food AB (NFF) based in Nacka , 49% of which is owned by franchisees and 51% by Atria Concept AB (part of the Finnish food company Atria ). The name "Sibylla" comes from Sibylla von Sachsen-Coburg and Gotha , the wife of the Swedish Crown Prince Gustav Adolf , who died in 1947 .

history

The restaurant chain has its origins in the beginning of the 20th century. In 1907 the meat trader Oscar Lithell founded the company in Kumla . Since 1932, sausages were specifically offered under this name and the brand name was launched; from 1972 the offer was expanded to include hamburgers .

The chain has around 200 branches all over Sweden and claims to have a market share of 60 percent in street sales. The “Sibylla” brand is one of the best-known brand names in Sweden.
