Siddhpur , also Sidhpur , is a city in the Indian state of Gujarat . It is a historical place on the bank of the Saraswati River .

The city is part of the Patan District . Sidhpur has the status of a municipality ( Nagar Palika ). The city is divided into 12 wards . It had a total of 56,402 inhabitants on the cut-off date of the 2011 census.

With the ruins of the Rudra Mahalaya Temple , the city has an important listed monument under the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). It comes from the Solanki period . The city is also known for its havelis .
