Sidney (comic artist)
Paul Ramboux (* 1932 in Belgium ) is a Belgian comic artist .
Career
After studying at the Institut Saint-Luc , Sidney found a job with Tintin , where he published his first work in 1960. For years he remained true to the short stories with historical topics.
He also published in Spirou under the names Kovak, Ramboux or Malois . 70 short stories were written by Uncle Paul and written by Octave Joly . For Joly, who was supported by Jean-Michel Charlier , he also drew the third part of Marco Polo. The previous two episodes were from Albert Uderzo and Pierre Dupuis .
Sidney celebrated his greatest success with Julie, Claire, and Cécile. The then editor-in-chief of Tintin ordered a humorous series with three teenage heroines. The text was provided by the author Bom.
