Sidney Bowman
Sidney Bowman ( Sidney Shepherd "Sid" Bowman; born June 8, 1907 in Brookhaven , Mississippi , † April 29, 1989 in Hammond , Louisiana ) was an American triple jumper .
At the Olympic Games he was ninth in Amsterdam in 1928 and seventh in Los Angeles in 1932 .
In 1932 he became US champion. He set his personal best of 15.19 m on May 26, 1934 in Baton Rouge .
