Siebenborn is a district of Brey , a municipality in the Mayen-Koblenz district in Rhineland-Palatinate .
geography
The village is located on a plateau on the left bank of the Rhine belonging to the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, west of Niederspay and southwest of Brey .
history
The place was first mentioned in 1278 under the name "Synenborne". The current name "Siebenborn" has been in use since around 1690. The name is derived from the Middle High German terms “sîfe” (= slowly flowing stream) and “brunne” (= source).

Siebenborn is on Kreisstraße 78, which leads to the B 9 after two kilometers in Spay . The next motorway junction is on the A 61 and is around 15 km away. The next train stop is also in Spay. Here you have access to the local trains on the left Rhine route . The next train station with access to long-distance passenger transport is Koblenz main station .
