description

The residential buildings Ketteler Strasse 1–15 and Kirchstrasse 64–72 , arranged in a rectangle with a shared, park-like, green inner courtyard were built in 1912/13 on behalf of the Milsper New Savings and Building Association based on a design by the Milsper architect Emil Böhmer. In 1926/27 the architect Ludwig Adams added the house group Kirchstrasse 58–62 to the entire complex .

The houses were built in the traditional mountain style, which includes transverse gables at the ends of the building, dormers , oriels , white-painted wooden lattice windows with matching wood shutters on the upper floor, house entrances with wooden doors and skylights as well as a slab of the upper floors in the roof area.

The houses facing Kirchstrasse follow the crooked course of the street with building rotations and are set back a little. A front garden enclosed by a quarry stone wall separates the houses from the street. The other houses are on Ketteler Strasse , which, as an access route, circles the settlement on the other three sides.
