Siegfried Breuer (politician)

Siegfried Breuer (born December 22, 1947 in Mulsum ; † May 2, 2018 in Bremen ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

biography

After completing his training as a retail salesman, completing his technical college entrance qualification and studying as a qualified social pedagogue, he worked in the penal service. From 1993 until his death he was managing director of the Arbeitsförderungs-Zentrum GmbH.

From June 13, 2003, Breuer was a member of Bremerhaven's citizenship and deputy chairman of the SPD parliamentary group. He was also a member of the budget and finance committee and of deputations. He was also the managing director of the SPD's parliamentary group. On January 26, 2005, however, he resigned prematurely from citizenship.

Breuer was married and had two children.

After his death he was buried at sea and his name tag was then mounted on a memorial dolphin on the dike in Bremerhaven.
