Siegfried Erbslöh

Siegfried Erbslöh (born June 23, 1888 in Düsseldorf, † January 27, 1968 in Wiesbaden ) was a German entrepreneur.

Erbslöh was the son of the entrepreneur Carl Hugo Erbslöh. His father was the founder of Erbslöh & Co., Geisenheimer Kaolinwerke . He studied chemistry, economics and mining at the Technical University of Darmstadt as well as at the Bergakademie and the University of Berlin. He went to the United States and Canada to acquire practical business knowledge. During the First World War he served as an officer in the field artillery. In 1921 he took over the family-owned plant from his father and expanded it into an internationally known company. Additional production facilities were set up in Lohrheim, Alpenrod, Oberwinter and Landshut.

From 1947 to 1954 he was President of the Wiesbaden Chamber of Commerce and Industry . He was also a member of the Synod of the Evangelical Church in Hesse and Nassau.
