Siegfried Greif

Siegfried Greif (born August 8, 1943 in Wurzen ) is a German psychologist and former head of the department of work and organizational psychology at the University of Osnabrück .

Career

After studying psychology at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen and graduating in 1967, Greif moved to the Free University of Berlin . There he received his doctorate in 1972, worked as an assistant professor from 1973, completed his habilitation in 1976 and received a professorship in 1977.

In 1982 he was offered a professorship at the University of Osnabrück, where he headed the department of work and organizational psychology until he reached retirement age in 2003. Greif was also a member of the Institute for Migration Research and Intercultural Studies (IMIS) at the university.

Greif works in the field of coaching and change management at a private consulting institute in cooperation with the University of Osnabrück.
