Siegfried Susser (born July 12, 1953 in Vilshofen ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Siegfried Susser played from 1971 to 1977 at FC Vilshofen in the district and national league. For the 1977/78 season he moved to 1. FC Nürnberg and played in the 2. Bundesliga . With second place in the final table, Susser and his club mates qualified for the promotion to the Bundesliga . Under coach Werner Kern , the club prevailed against Rot-Weiss Essen . From the 1978/79 season onwards , Susser played first class. For the second half of the season he was loaned to SC Freiburg . For the new season he returned to the club. Since Nuremberg was relegated in the previous season, he played again in the 2nd division. Susser stayed in Nuremberg for a year and then moved to league rivals Stuttgarter Kickers , where he played in the second division for three more years. He then moved to France for a year at Racing Strasbourg . He returned to Germany and played in the Bayern League for SpVgg Fürth . From 1987 he played in lower amateur leagues at BSC Erlangen , 1. SC Feucht , SpVgg Obertrubach and TSV Falkenheim.
