Siegfried Völlger (* 1955 ) is an editor of poetry anthologies who is also active as an author .

life and work

Siegfried Völlger trained as a bookseller and worked for the Munich bookstore Hugendubel . Among other things, he wrote music reviews for the Hugendubel blog. He is known as the editor for the Sanssouci Verlag , DTV and the Carl Hanser Verlag . The anthology he edited Leave it to the Time - Poems for Mourners, Words for Consolation is recognized as a contribution to the culture of mourning. He is represented with his own texts in several literary magazines and anthologies. Siegfried Völlger also writes in Bavarian dialect . He had his first publications of his own texts in the 1970s. In 2014, one of his poems was presented in the morning series Lyrik am Bayern 2 .
