Sierra Marie Swan (born April 5, 1978 in Van Nuys , California ) is an American singer and songwriter and the daughter of guitarist Billy Swan . Her sister Planet is also a musician. From 1997 to 1998 Swan was a member of the alternative duo Dollshead. In 1998 the duo released their only album Frozen Charlotte . After the band split up, Swan released their first solo album Ladyland in 2006 , which was produced by Linda Perry , among others . In 2009 she co-produced Girl Who Cried Wolf with Dan Burns . The Sun Sessions (2011) includes covers of songs from the 1960s and was produced with her father.
