Sievert Steenbuck

Sievert Steenbuck , alternative spellings Siewert Steinbuck , Sieverdt Steinbugh , Sievert Steinbuck , († 1624 in Sievershütten ) was a glassworks owner and farmer bailiff of the village of Hutten ; from 1648 this place was named after him Sievershütten .

Sievert Steenbuck was a farmer's bailiff and owner of a double hoof from 1597 . As the owner of the castle bailiwick, he enjoyed numerous privileges and had contact with the Danish royal governor Heinrich Rantzau . The glassworks belonging to Doppelhufe ceased operations at that time.

Sievert Steenbuck was married to Catarina Thießen, the sister of the parish vogts of Kaltenkirchen . The marriage had four children. His first son Claus Steinbuck took over the Burvogtstelle in 1626.

Sievert Steenbuck and his wife died of the plague in 1624 .
