Sigge Lindberg

Sigfrid "Sigge" Oskar Lindberg (born March 26, 1897 in Helsingborg , † January 4, 1977 ibid) was a Swedish football player .

Career

Lindberg first played at IF Örnen . In 1918 he made his debut in the goal of Helsingborgs IF . In 1929 and 1930 the goalkeeper became Swedish champions. Between 1924 and 1931 he played 147 times in the Allsvenskan . In 1931 he moved to Landskrona BoIS , for which he played 27 first division games by the end of his career the following year.

Lindberg played 50 times for the Swedish national team between 1921 and 1930 . At the Olympic Games in 1924 he won the bronze medal with the selection.
