Vex Red was a British alternative rock - band that in their music influences from the rock and the electronic music blended together. The band was formed in 1995 in Aldershot ( Hampshire ), England .
After the first two demo recordings , guitarist and singer Terry Abbott joined the band in 1999 and completed the work on the demo Can't Smile . This brought the band a record deal and shortly thereafter Start With a Strong and Persistent Desire was recorded and released, but the commercial success remained. Although she was already working on new material, no second album was recorded as the band split up before that.
