The Sigma Point is a rectangular and rocky headland on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . It protrudes into the northern flank of the Sørsdal Glacier on the southern edge of the Vestfold Mountains.
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 1983 because of the shape of the erosions on the headland, which are reminiscent of the Greek letter sigma .
