Sigrid Dušek

Sigrid Dušek , née Albert (born September 18, 1937 - November 21, 2009 ) was a German prehistorian .

Sigrid Dušek received her doctorate from the Humboldt University in Berlin in 1970. From 1990 to 1992 she was director of the Museum of Prehistory and Early History in Thuringia . Its redesign in 1999 was also designed and coordinated by them. From 1992 until her retirement in 2003, Sigrid Dušek was a regional archaeologist for the Free State of Thuringia .

Her research focus was on the investigation of the relationship between Slavs and Germans as well as Romans and Teutons . She has published numerous publications in this field.
