Sigrid Hauser

Sigrid Hauser (born January 20, 1966 in Vienna ) is an Austrian singer , actress , cabaret artist and screenwriter .

Life

Sigrid Hauser was born in Vienna, graduated from the Vienna Conservatory and passed her training with distinction. She received her first engagements at the Graumanntheater and the Volkstheater Wien and went on tour with the vocal ensemble "Tietzes" for several years. In 1993 she came to the Simpl cabaret , where she appeared in seven revues, one tour and two music shows. She became known to a larger audience through the TV comedy series "The Sick Sisters" (1995–1999). In 2007 Sigrid Hauser also appeared in the ORF comedy series "Die liebe Familie" .

In 2000 Sigrid Hauser made her debut at the Vienna Volksoper ("Petrol Station of the Damned") and has since appeared repeatedly in the opera house's productions. Among other things, she took on the lead role there in 2010 in the Broadway musical "Hello, Dolly".

In the Munich Gärtnerplatztheater she celebrated her premiere at this house in 2012 as the Rössl landlady in the operetta "Im Weißen Rössl".

Sigrid Hauser has also worked as a writer on many of her cabaret productions as well as her solo programs "Glanz & Gloria", "Höchstersonlich" and "Sex And The Sigrid". Sigrid Hauser currently lives in Vienna.
