A Sikkim and Bhutan armor is a protective weapon from Sikkim and Bhutan .
description
A Sikkim and Bhutan armor usually consists of iron and other metals. It is chain mail that covers the torso, arms and legs. The helmet that goes with it is made of steel and is padded inside. The cheek and neck flaps are made of heavy brocade . The collar of the shirt is made of red flannel and is stiffened by an inner layer of leather. A breastplate made of round plates serves as reinforcement. This is a version of the Persian and Indian Char Aina . A belt made of rounded pieces of metal riveted to leather protects the area of the lower abdomen and the back. An undergarment made of leather or fabric is usually worn with this armor. This type of armor was in use in Tibet until the 20th century.
