Silke , real name Silke Hornillos Klein (born February 6, 1974 in Madrid , Spain ) is a Spanish film actress.

Life

Silke Hornillos Klein is the daughter of a Spanish lawyer and a German translator. She has an older sister, Elke, and a younger brother, Pelayo. After her parents divorced, she grew up with her father. Her first supporting role was in the 1992 film Orquesta Club Virginia . She then took acting classes at the Laboratorio de Teatro William Layton in Madrid . In 1995 she got the leading role in Julio Médem's road movie Hola, ¿estás sola? where she and a friend took a risky trip to Madrid and the Costa del Sol . In 1996 Julio Médem engaged her for his next film, Tierra , in which she played Mari .

In 1997 she worked in the short film Miranda hacia atrás . In 2000 and 2001 the films Km. 0 and Hau ab! , 2003 the Spanish-Mexican thriller Deadly Cargo , which was set in Senegal , Africa . In 2006, she played the survivor Maria in the Spanish horror film The Cold Hour by Elio Quiroga. She was also hired for some commercials .

Silke lives in Ibiza, is married and has a daughter.
