Silke Hauck

Silke Hauck (* 1969 in Zweibrücken ) is a German jazz , blues , pop and soul singer .

Career

Her first single "Let the wind change" ( grunge pop) was released in 1992 under the pseudonym Chelsea , and another title was published on a compilation by Saarland Radio. In 1997 the German-language maxi single "Die Nacht, noch ein Tag" was released, and she and her new band had a TV appearance on RTL .

In 1999 she went on an excursion into the world of Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill and released the album "LIEDERitäten". In the same year she received the Muddy's Award from the Jazz- & Bluesforum Rhein-Neckar. In 2000 the “Silke Hauck Night” started in the Mannheimer Schatzkistl, a night program with changing artistic guests.

In 2001 another maxi single was released with the title "I love men". Silke Hauck had her premiere as an author in 2002 with the publication of the book "Nobody is too stupid to be a pig".

In 2004, Hauck released her first English-language album "mellow blue" with twelve songs from her own pen and a cover version. In 2006 she was a studio singer on the song “This Way” by Xavier Naidoo . Pro 7 took over two songs from the album "mellow blue" for the telenovela " Lotta in Love ". The title track of the CD "frozen tears", released in 2007, appeared on a compilation in advance.

In 2008 she released the new album "Swingin 'Emotions" with the Rhinestream Jazzband and Jochen Brauer . In June 2009 the album "Stay For Good" was released by Starfish Music.

She has been under contract with 7us Media group, Winnenden, since 2011, where she released the albums “Light and Love (Best of)”, “Bad Weeds grow tall” and “Running scared”, as well as a number of singles.
