Silwana Tschauschewa (born May 19, 1995 in Smoljan ; Bulgarian Силвана Чаушева ) is a Bulgarian volleyball player .

Career

Tschauschewa played in the 2015/16 season for the Romanian club CS Volei Alba-Blaj . She then worked with Maritza Plovdiv in her home country . In 2017 she took part in the U23 World Cup with the Bulgarian juniors. Then she moved to the Italian league to Yamamay Busto Arsizio . With the senior national team, Tschauschewa finished twelfth at the 2018 World Cup . Then she was signed by the German Bundesliga club SC Potsdam . While she acts as a diagonal attacker in the national team, she is used as an outside attacker in Potsdam.
