Live and act

Deluigi sang so well at the age of four that her mother, an actress, sent her to a music school, and later also to ballet lessons. Then she studied classical singing at the State Conservatory in Buenos Aires. At the age of 19 she got the role of Maria in the musical West Side Story for the performance at the Presidente Alvear Teatro in Buenos Aires. Two years later she sang in the rock opera Romeo e Julietta at the Coliseo Teatro there . In 1984 she moved to Paris to study drama at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique .

In 1988 she was discovered in Paris by Juan José Mosalini , with whom she toured internationally several times. Arte produced the film Tanguera with her in 1989 (director: Heinz-Peter Schwerfel). She increasingly saw herself as a innovator in tango and expanded its traditions to include improvisational leeway. Deluigi has also performed worldwide with the Grupo 676 Tango - a quintet in classic tango instrumentation. She can also be heard on Kip Hanrahan's A Thousand Nights and a Night .
