Silvia Hüsler
Silvia Hüsler-Vogt (born February 22, 1943 in Zurich ) is a Swiss children's book author.
Life
After several years of professional experience as a kindergarten teacher , she changed her profession and taught as a methodology teacher at the seminar in Brugg , and since 1984 as a freelance specialist in intercultural pedagogy . She is also involved on a political level; until 2000 she was Vice-President of the Federal Commission for Foreigners' Issues. Above all, she campaigned for the integration of foreign language children. She illustrates many of her books herself. She writes many texts for the Swiss radio DRS 1 . Silvia Hüsler lives in Zurich and Rialto ( Italy ).
