Silvino João de Carvalho , nicknamed Jaba , (born May 20, 1981 in Araripina , Brazil ) is a Brazilian football player .

Career

Jaba started his career at Coritiba FC in 2001 and played there for three years. In July 2004 he signed his first contract abroad. He went to Turkey to Ankaraspor . At the first division, Jaba immediately played a good season. In 31 games, he scored 17 goals and was fifth on the top scorer list. In the following years he could not achieve this number of goals. He played for Ankaraspor for three years. In the summer of 2007 he moved to city rivals MKE Ankaragücü . Jaba stayed with the Blue-Yellows for two years, after which he moved to Azerbaijan to FK Baku .

His three years in Baku were unsuccessful. In 2012, the striker returned to Medical Park Antalyaspor in Turkey and signed a contract until the end of the season.

After he returned to his home country in the summer of 2012 and played one season at Arapongas Esporte Clube , he moved back to Turkey for the 2013/13 season . This time he signed with the second division Karşıyaka SK . This change was canceled a few days later.
