The Simbra Peak is a 574 m high and striking mountain on South Georgia in the South Atlantic . On the Lewin Peninsula, it rises northeast of Diamond Peak between Boat Harbor and Jason Peak .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2013. It is named after the whaler Simbra , whose sinking on January 11, 1947 in heavy weather off South Georgia killed 15 crew members.
