Second World War
After the 1937/38 season, the team was the winner of District Class II Unterbaden-Ost in the promotion round of the Gauliga Baden for the 1938/39 season . The round in the group north , however, the club then finished with 3: 9 points only in third place, which was not enough for promotion. After the 1940/41 season , once again succeeded in participating in the promotion round. With 10: 6 points, the second place was enough this time to move up to the Gauliga next season . Within the group north, this season ended with 3:17 points but in sixth and last place in the group, which meant that the team had to be relegated again. After the 1942/43 season , participation in the promotion round succeeded again, this was won, but the team then withdrew from the game.

For the 1953/54 season , they were promoted to the then third-class 1st Amateur League North Baden . The team finished the season in eighth place with 34:40 points. After several top placements, the club then had to descend, however, with 13:47 points after the 1956/57 season over the last place in the table.
Current time
In the 2003/04 season the team played in the Mannheim district league, where they finished fifth with 49 points. After the league structure reform, the 2004/05 season continued in the district league, where the team even took second place with 57 points. After the 2011/12 season, he was promoted to the national league with first place and 71 points. In the following season, with 41 points and eleventh place, they managed to stay in the league. After the 2013/14 season, due to the 15th place with 29 points, it was over again and the team relegated to the district league for the next season. Back in the district league, the team then placed fourth with 55 points. The league could then be left after the 2015/16 season as champions as promoted. Back in the national league, with 34 points, they managed to stay in league again over eleventh place. This time the time in the national league lasted a little longer, but after the 2018/19 season the division was over again and the team had to relegate again. Thus, the team has played in the Mannheim district league again since the 2019/20 season .
Handball
The first men's team currently plays in the Baden League, the top division of the Baden handball association .
