Simi (singer)
Simi , full name Simisola Bolatito Ogunleye (born April 19, 1988 in Surulere ) is a Nigerian singer , songwriter and sound engineer . She started her career with gospel singing , but is now famous for her pop songs .
life and career
Simi holds a degree in mass communication . She started writing her own songs at the age of 10. In her teenage years she was a member of a church choir. She released her first album in 2018, it was called Ogaju , was produced by Samklef and already contained several hits. Simi is under contract with the Nigerian label X3M Music . With her second album, Simi reached the top 5 on the Billboard charts .
In 2016 Simi first appeared as a sound engineer . She was responsible for mixing and mastering most of the tracks on Adekunle Gold's album Gold .
