Simmingferner
The Simmingferner is a glacier in the Stubai Alps in Tyrol , Austria .
It extends north of the main Alpine ridge at the end of the Gschnitztal , south of the Simmingalm and the Bremer Hütte and lies in the north and northeast of the 3178 meter high snow peak .
The glacier now consists of several isolated ice fields and is no longer a closed ice surface.
The Stubai High Trail leads over the Simmingjöchl to the northwest of the glacier between the Bremer Hütte and the Nürnberger Hütte .
