Simon Al-Odeh
Simon Al-Odeh (born August 9, 1988 in Peine ) is a German composer .
Life
Simon Al-Odeh grew up in Recklinghausen , where he first learned to play the trumpet before he dealt with music theory independently and wrote his first pieces. His music was performed early on at the Ruhr Festival in Recklinghausen and as part of the European Capital of Culture year Ruhr 2010 in Italy and France. Simon Al-Odeh received composition lessons from Rüdiger Blömer and studied with Dolf de Kinkelder in Arnhem and with Alex Manassen in Zwolle in the Netherlands. His music was u. a. Performed by the Neue Philharmonie Westfalen , Het Gelders Orkest and orkest de ereprijs .
Simon Al-Odeh lives and works in Cologne.
