Simon Cziommer (born November 6, 1980 in Nordhorn ) is a former German football player on the position of midfielder .
Career
society
Cziommers career began at FC Schüttorf 09 . His path led to FC Schalke 04 for the first time in 2003 via FC Twente Enschede ( Netherlands , 1994–2003) . At the end of January 2004 he was loaned to Twente Enschede again; in the summer of 2005 he returned to Schalke after the loan contract had expired.
From January 3, 2006, Cziommer played briefly on loan with Roda Kerkrade , on May 17, 2006 he finally moved to the Dutch runner-up AZ Alkmaar . After coach Louis van Gaal announced that Cziommer had little chance of a regular place at Alkmaar, he switched to FC Utrecht on loan for a year in 2008 .
Simon Cziommer has been playing for FC Red Bull Salzburg since summer 2009 , with whom he won the Austrian championship in 2010 and 2012 .
