Simon Fischhaber (born February 19, 1990 in Greiling ) is a German ice hockey player who was most recently under contract with Starbulls Rosenheim in the DEL2 .
Career
Simon Fischhaber began his career as an ice hockey player with the Tölzer Junglöwen , for which he was active in the German Junior League from 2005 to 2007 . After the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds had selected the CHL Import Draft 2007 in the first round as a total of 56 players, he moved to the Canadian Junior League Ontario Hockey League . For the greyhounds he was on the ice for a total of two years before he received a contract with the Nürnberg Ice Tigers for the 2009/10 season , for which he made his debut on September 3, 2009 in the 1: 4 away defeat at Adler Mannheim in the German Ice Hockey League . In summer 2012 he decided to move within the DEL and received a contract with the Iserlohn Roosters . After two years in the Sauerland, he returned to Bavaria and has since played for the Starbulls Rosenheim in the DEL2 .
International
With the German U18 election, he took part in the 2008 World Cup for this age group in the top division. In 2009, Fischhaber played with the junior national team at the U20 World Junior Championship , where he and his team finished ninth and penultimate place in the top division and relegated to division 1. A year later, at the U20 Junior World Championships in Division I 2010 , he managed to get promoted back to the top division with the national team.
