Simon Grover
Simon Grover (born November 25, 1966 in St Albans , Hertfordshire , England ) is an English actor , screenwriter and politician .
Life
Simon Grover was born and raised in St. Albans. After living in London for 10 years and studying political science at Hull University , he returned to St. Albans in 2003. His studies sparked his interest in green politics, so that he is now a city councilor. After graduation, Grover took acting classes for a year and worked in theater and television for over 10 years. Occasionally he still appears in television films, but is now mainly active as a writer. He writes scripts for the pre-school television program and works part-time in a communications consultancy in London.
Simon was elected as the first green councilor to administer the St. Albans District Council . His area of responsibility as a city council includes advice and assistance on questions and problems, as well as participation in committees and departments. He is currently Head of the Independent & Green Council Group .
As an actor, he first appeared in the BBC children's series Tweenies. In 2010 he appeared in feature films such as London Boulevard and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows . He has also played the trumpet since 2007 and sings in the Anglo Latin band The Swanvesta Social Club . This brought out the mini-album Never Mind The Bongos . Glover performed with his band at the Two Rivers Festival in Chepstow in 2008 . The band has now released a full album called The Inauthentic Sound of Cuba .
