Simon Persson (born August 31, 1991 ) is a Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Persson competed in junior races until 2012. Since 2012 he has mainly participated in the Scandinavian Cup . He ran his first World Cup race in February 2012 in Szklarska Poręba , which he finished with 25th place in the sprint and thus also won his first World Cup points. He achieved his best individual World Cup result so far in March 2013 in Lahti and in December 2013 in Davos with ninth place in the sprint. At the Swedish cross-country skiing championships in Falun in 2013 and in Umeå in 2014 , he won bronze in the sprint.
