The Simon publisher of library knowledge was in 2008 in Berlin founded.

The publisher also publishes two series:
- Contemporary witnesses of the 20th century : Letters and memoirs are published in a context of historical sources and reports.
- Hearing and learning : New sounds should rediscover hearing. The series aims to bring contemporary works, including non-European music in books, on CDs in sheet music and as downloads from the Internet.
Events
