Simon Wieland (born December 16, 2000 ) is a Swiss athlete who specializes in throwing a javelin .
Athletic career
Simon Wieland gained his first international experience in 2018 when he finished eighth at the U20 World Championships in Tampere with a width of 70.51 m. The following year he won the U20 European Championships in Borås, Sweden with 79.44 m and set a new U23 national record.
In 2019 Wieland became Swiss champion in javelin throw.
