Simone Jay

Simone Jay (* 27. October 1960 in Port Chester , New York , as Simone Jackson Clark ), also known as Simona Jackson is an American singer, especially in the Italian Euro Dance was active scene.

Career

The singer moved to Italy in the early 1990s and was discovered by producer Roberto Zanetti . In 1993 she released her first single Love is the Key on the DWA label under the name Simona Jackson. In the following years she worked with Ice MC and Netzwerk . After switching to VCI Recordings, she changed her stage name to Simone Jay. In 1997 she released her next solo single, Wanna B Like a Man , which reached the top of the Italian singles chart. In the same year the singer also had a chart success with Midnight .

Simone Jay also worked with Fargetta , Eiffel 65 and DJ Dado during these years . In 1998 she released the single Luv Thang and the successful collaboration with DJ Dado in Ready or Not , 1999 Paradise . In 2000 she had another smaller hit with Give Me Love Love , after which there were only sporadic releases of the singer, who finally moved back to the USA.
