Simone Nicole Jean Lahbib Ould Cheikl (born February 6, 1965 in Stirling , Scotland ) is a British actress .

life and career

The Scottish Simone Lahbib was the daughter of a Scottish mother and a algerischstämmigen Frenchman born in Stirling. In her Scottish homeland she attended a drama and ballet school. Simone Lahbib has worked in various theater, television and cinema productions. She attracted more attention in the television series Bad Girls for her portrayal of the prison director Helen Steward, who falls in love with a prisoner. This role earned her a huge fan base in the lesbian and gay scene. In German-speaking countries she worked alongside lead actor Robson Green as Detective Inspector Alex Fielding in ZDFbroadcast British crime series Hautnah - The Hill method known.

Simone Lahbib has been married to the American actor Raffaello Degruttola since May 10, 2003. In October 2005 she became the mother of a daughter.
