Simone Legerstee (born June 27, 1986 in Rotterdam ) is a Dutch volleyball player .

Career

Legerstee came to this sport early on as the daughter of a volleyball player. She started her career with Alcom Cappelle and later played in her hometown for VC Nesselande . With the Dutch national youth team, she finished fourth at the Junior World Cup in 2003. She then devoted herself to her studies in health sciences . From 2007 to 2010, Libera played for Sliedrecht Sport before being signed by the German Bundesliga club VT Aurubis Hamburg . There the attempt to fill the position twice failed, which is why Legerstee switched to Alemannia Aachen in 2011 .
