Simone Rappel

Simone Rappel (* 1967 in Regensburg ) is a German theologian and religious scholar. She is also an intercultural trainer and consultant specializing in improving cooperation with India.

Life

She studied Catholic theology and religious studies at the University of Regensburg , did her doctorate in 1995 and completed her habilitation in 2004 at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg , where she has been teaching as an adjunct professor for moral theology since 2012 . She was the head of the education department at missio . In 2007 she was certified as an intercultural trainer at IKUD in Göttingen and started her own company in 2008. Since then, she has been helping companies from German-speaking countries to develop intercultural competence for India in order to be successful in business in India and to work better with Indian colleagues. She is a consultant, trainer and sparring partner for specialists and executives who have to cope with a wide variety of challenges in India in very different contexts. In addition to intercultural competence, the development of a good bi- or multicultural team culture and a culturally sensitive form of leadership are key issues that accompany them.
