Simone Urbani (born June 19, 1992 ) is an Italian cross-country skier .

Career

Urbani made his debut in the Cross-Country World Cup in December 2013 in Asiago , where he finished 79th in the sprint. He achieved his first World Cup points in December 2014 with rank 27 in the sprint in Davos . On January 9, 2015 in Oberwiesenthal he achieved his first top 10 placement in the Alpencup with ninth place ; two weeks later Urbani achieved his first top 15 result in the World Cup with 14th place in the sprint in Rybinsk .
