Simplice Honoré Guibila

Simplice Honoré Guibila (born February 18, 1963 ) is a diplomat of the Republic of Burkina Faso .

From 1995 to 2000 he was second class counselor (deputy head of mission) in Washington, DC From 2000 to 2003, he headed the America division of the State Department in Ouagadougou . From 2003 to 2008 he was First Class Counselor (Deputy Head of Mission) in Ottawa, Canada. From 2008 to 2011 he was Head of Legal Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ouagadougou. From 2011 to 2013 he was Ambassador 's Head of Legal and Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ouagadougou.

From 2013 to 2015 he held the rank of ambassador, replacing the permanent representative at the UN headquarters .

On November 10, 2015, Joachim Gauck accredited him as ambassador to Berlin.
