Sin Dios (German: Without God ) was a hardcore anarchist band formed in Madrid , Spain in 1988 .
Band history
The band was formed in 1988 with the aim of spreading libertarian ideas. The first concerts therefore took place in occupied houses to support various autonomous groups .
In 1990 her first album " ... ni Amo " was released with 13 highly political songs, followed by a tour of Spain.
The following year her next record, “ Ruido Anticapitalista ” ( anti-capitalist noise ), was released, followed by “ Alerta Antifascista ” ( anti-fascist vigilance ) a year later. The latter work not only includes texts and commentaries by the band, but also contributions from members of other libertarian movements. After a full year of gigs, the band broke up due to "differences" and then formed again in 1997 (after a break of 1½ years).
Five more albums followed, a video, a new bassist and tours in Europe and Latin America .
Because the album Odio al Imperio contains a song about the Middle East conflict that contains anti-Semitic statements, Twisted Chords refused to release the album on vinyl.
In 2006 Sin Dios broke up for personal reasons; the band members focus more on libertarian activities again.
