Siobhan Finneran
Siobhan Margaret Finneran (born January 2, 1966 in Lancashire , England ) is a British actress .
Life
Finneran's first major role was that of Rita in the 1986 film Rita, Sue and Bob Too . From 2007 to 2012, she played the role of Janice on the ITV television series Benidorm . From 2010 to 2012 she starred as Sarah O'Brien in the drama series Downton Abbey . Finneran and her Downton Abbey colleagues were named Best Acting Company in a Television Series - Drama at the Screen Actors Guild Awards 2013 . In 2014 they received a nomination in the same category.
Finneran was married to actor Mark Jordon from 1997 to 2014 and they have two children. She lives in Saddleworth , Lancashire .
